At Kohn & Associates, we approach litigation in the same way as we approach IP in general - as a tool which can be selectively used to protect and further corporate interests. As advocates for our clients, we act decisively, creating breakthrough opportunities when needed or necessary via preliminary injunctions, seizures and summary judgments.

Our litigation experience allows us not only to effectively and aggressively defend our client's rights in court, but also to negotiate settlements and resolutions for them, avoiding many of the costs associated with trials. We believe litigation is a means to an end and not the end itself. Furthermore, our technical expertise and legal experience allows us to clearly and effectively represent our clients, even in situations hinging on nuanced technical points. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants and, in appropriate cases, handle matters on a contingency fee or utilize other alternative billing arrangements.
